Planet Games” workshops and guided tour
What if games were the key to understanding the world around us? The Planet Games exhibition invites you to discover the links between play and the environment, by examining the way in which nature is represented in board games and video games.
Whether it’s a simple backdrop, a resource to be exploited or an ecosystem to be preserved, nature is portrayed in many different ways in traditional and contemporary games. Drawing on a variety of examples, Planète Jeux highlights the environmental imaginaries conveyed by games and the way they shape our relationship with the living world. At the same time, there’s an essential question to be asked: what is the ecological impact of the games industry, and how can we imagine a more responsible and sustainable form of production?
Bring your class into this captivating universe, where games become a powerful tool for questioning and imagining the world of tomorrow.
