Museomix 2024: The Playful and Creative Experience!

This year, the Swiss Game Museum welcomes Museomix on November 8, 9 and 10, 2024, for a new edition of this international creative hackathon. Museomix is much more than just an event: it’s an experience where innovation, culture and collaboration come together to transform the museum and offer the public a new perspective on the collections.

For three days, teams of mediators, designers, developers, handymen, artists and cultural enthusiasts will come together to imagine and create innovative mediation devices. The aim? To reinvent the museum experience by creating fun, interactive installations that allow visitors to discover the museum in a totally new way.

Museomix Kids:
The Little Creators Hackathon

Alongside Museomix for adults, Museomix Kids invites children aged 8 to 12 to take part in a mini hackathon on November 9 and 10. During these two afternoons, young participants will explore creative spaces (such as FabLabs and woodworking workshops) and design interactive tours that they will then share with the public. A great opportunity for them to learn about cultural mediation in a fun and immersive way!

Discover the Participants’ Creations!

On Sunday November 10 from 3:30 to 5:00 pm, the public is invited to discover the prototypes created by the Museomix teams. A tour of the museum and Museomix workshops will also be available from 11am to 5:30pm, offering a unique insight into the world of creation and innovation.
