Museomix is much more than just an event: it’s a three-day creative marathon during which a community of enthusiasts – mediators, designers, developers, tinkerers, artists and many others – come together to imagine and create innovative new mediation devices. The aim? To offer a unique, participatory museum experience!

Don’t miss the chance to see the prototypes created over these three days on Sunday, November 10 from 3:30 to 5:00 pm! The teams will be presenting their creations, offering a new perspective on the museum’s collections through interactive and entertaining displays.

To complete the experience, take advantage of guided tours led by children aged 12 to 14 on Sunday afternoons. A great way to see the museum through the eyes of younger visitors!

Throughout the day, Museomix workshops and museum spaces will be open to visitors from 11am to 5:30pm. Come and take a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process, and be amazed by the innovative ideas that come to life before your very eyes!

Museomix Kids
The hackathon for little creators!

On November 9 and 10, alongside Museomix for adults, we’ll be hosting Museomix Kids, a mini hackathon for children aged 8 to 12. For two afternoons, young participants will have the opportunity to slip into the shoes of cultural mediators.

The program:

  • On Saturday, November 9, from 2pm to 5pm, they’ll be creating interactive tours.
  • On Sunday November 10, from 2:30 to 5:30 pm, they will share their creations with visitors, from 3:30 to 5:30 pm.

Children can explore creative spaces such as FabLabs and woodworking workshops, and then come up with their own unique, fun tours. Who knows? Maybe you’ll have to jump to discover an exhibition, send a paper airplane to decide where to go, or explore through Pac-Man goggles!

Museomix Kids is a great opportunity for children to give free rein to their imagination and learn about cultural mediation in a fun way.
