• Date: November 2 – 3, 2024
  • Location: 10 museums on the Riviera

Launched in autumn 2000, the “Family Weekend at the Museums” offers a unique opportunity for families to get together and discover new things. During the first weekend in November, the Riviera’s museums invite families to take part in activities specially designed for them. On registration, discover and create together works or objects linked to the theme of each museum.

Special Activity: Painting and Memory!
  • Times: Saturday and Sunday, 1:30 and 3:30 p.m.
  • Duration: 1h30
  • Age: 5 to 9 years

Description : Use potatoes and a little paint to create unique stamps. Decorate and create your own memory game. After a few games, take your personalized game home to challenge your friends and family!

Registration: Registration closes on Friday November 1 at 12pm. Online registration only.

Cost: CHF 10 per workshop per family (1 adult and 1 child minimum, up to 5 people).

Parents’ Stories

The Fondation Jeunesse & Familles will be pleased to present its services and its “Histoires de Parents” game. This game, the result of a collaboration with EDUCH.CH, is a socio-educational tool that encourages and supports the expression of parental narratives.

Special Guided Tours

In addition to our workshop, we offer guided tours free with the ticket price:

  • Sunday at 11 a.m.: Guided tour especially for families
  • Sunday at 3pm: Guided tour for the general public

Take advantage of these tours to explore our current exhibitions with an expert and enrich your museum experience.

This weekend will also be an opportunity to discover our new permanent exhibition Histoire de jouer: la grande épopée du jeu”, as well as to rediscover the exhibition De la case au pixel: archéologie du jeu vidéo”, which continues to delight our visitors. Come and experience a playful adventure through time and games.
