Emerging global gaming” conference at MSJ

On Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the Musée Suisse du Jeu will host the conference “Émergences d’un autre gaming global: Champs/contrechamps des enjeux contemporains du jeu vidéo”. Moderated by Mehdi Derfoufi, lecturer and researcher in cultural studies at Université Paris 8 and CÉMTI, this talk will explore dominant representations in the video game industry and highlight alternative proposals addressing themes such as gender, racism and the climate crisis.

This conference, open to all without prior registration, is organized in collaboration with the History Faculty ofUniDistance Switzerland. It is part of the Cultural History module of the Bachelor’s degree in History, directed by Prof. Dr. Claude Hauser and Dr. Cyril Cordoba.
