Open Tuesday to Sunday from 11 am until 5:30 pm
Open on Easter Monday, Ascension Day, Pentecost and “Jeûne Fédéral”
Christmas holidays : Closed December 24th et 25th as well as January 1st and 2nd 2023.

The Museum is accessible to people with reduced mobility and wheelchair. A companion ticket is provided free of charge. Ask at reception for access to the elevator.
Pushchairs are not allowed in the exhibition area, there is a space to leave them at the entrance of the Museum.
For tours, workshops and groups of more than 10 people, preliminary booking is compulsory. To get more information about guided tours and workshops: www.museedujeu.ch/en/activities.
Please leave your luggage and bags at the entrance. Lockers are available.
Minimum age recommended: 7 years.
There are parking places around the museum including the parking ‘Les Remparts’ at the city center. In addition, a parking bay for disabled and for buses can be found directly in front of the main entrance in the Rue du Château.
If you bring your own food and drink, they may be consumed in the courtyard and around the castle but not in the exhibition halls or restaurant.
Pets are not allowed in the exhibition halls of the museum.
Filming and photography is permitted in all visitor-accessible areas. The photographs may be used for private purposes only; for professional publishing please contact us.
Currencies: CHF and EUR.
Reka Cheques: accepted, no change is given
Credit cards: all major credit cards accepted from CHF 20.-
